Open Now - MVSD Intra-District Permit Application for 2025-26

Dear MVSD Parents and Families,


The Mountain View School District is announcing that the Intra-District Permit Application window for the 2025-2026 School Year is open as of today, Friday, January 17 and will close on Thursday, February 27, 2025. 


Who does this apply to?

Intra-district permits are for students residing within the Mountain View School District boundaries whose families would like to request they attend a non-resident school within MVSD. 


Note

  • Students who already have an intra-district permit on file WILL NOT need to renew it on an annual basis

  • Students who are requesting to attend a non-resident school within MVSD will need to submit an intra-district permit located on the District website here: Mountain View School District - Permit Forms   


How do I submit my Intra-District Permit form? 
Once you have completed the form, save as an Adobe PDF (.pdf) file and email to PPS's Yessika Alvarez at yalvarez@mtviewschools.net You may also print the form and ​submit it in person at the District Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays, at 3320 Gilman Road, El Monte.

Our Intra-District Permit application window continues to be open through Thu, Feb. 27th, 2025.

GREAT NEWS: If you already have an Intra-District Permit on file, and your child will continue to attend the SAME school, you do NOT need to reapply this year!

If you have any questions, please contact your school site office so they may confirm what applies to your child.
