Dear Baker School Students and Parents,
Thank you to the entire staff and student body for an outstanding start to the 2024–2025 academic year! I must also thank each of you—parents, guardians, and caregivers—for your involvement in your child’s education. We all know that students learn most effectively when the important people in their lives work together to support and encourage them. On that note, I strongly urge you to continue to take advantage of the numerous volunteer and educational opportunities available all year long. I encourage you to stay informed by reading our weekly Sunday messages, reviewing the monthly calendar, and, most importantly, attending the school's scheduled meetings.
In addition, I’d like to emphasize the importance of regular attendance. When students attend school consistently, they build essential skills, deepen their learning, and form habits that will benefit them throughout their academic journey and beyond. Let’s work together to make sure every day counts!
Now that the holiday season is upon us, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones cheer and prosperity. May this special season help you create wonderful memories.
In partnership,
Leticia McCorkle
Principal
